Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Audit & Compliance

  • Conduct periodic audits and take corrective actions for deviations as per company guidelines and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by the store finance team.
  • Ensure compliance with indirect tax regulations.

Inventory & Asset Control

  • Monitor and control inventory with a focus on shrinkage review and reduction.
  • Conduct physical verification of fixed assets and ensure accurate records.

Accounting & Financial Management

  • Perform accounting and reconciliation of revenue, costs, receivables, and payables.
  • Handle bank reconciliation and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Troubleshoot store finance-related customer and operational issues.

MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare and review store MIS reports and ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Compile and submit various reports required by the Support Office from time to time.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with bankers, finance companies, authorities, and consultants to resolve store-related financial issues.

Team Management & Training

  • Schedule, train, and guide the store finance team.
  • Mentor and support Assistant Cluster Accountants to ensure effective performance.
