Assistant Manager - Chief Security Officer

Security of Plant, Mines & Township

• Ensure comprehensive security arrangements to safeguard company assets and employees
• Oversee daily deployment and supervision of security personnel across plant, mines, and township
• Implement strict access control for men, materials, and vehicles
• Conduct regular area patrolling and ensure PPE compliance at entry points

Security Guards Deployment & Supervision

• Carry out briefing, debriefing, and discipline enforcement among guards
• Manage induction, training, and performance evaluations of security personnel
• Ensure high morale and readiness of the security team to handle challenges

Liaison Activities

• Establish and maintain relationships with local villagers, government authorities, and police
• Represent company interests and ensure community harmony and cooperation

Intelligence Information Gathering

• Monitor internal and external activities for threats or disturbances
• Track worker behavior and respond to unruly elements
• Ensure continuous surveillance using CCTV, MIS, and Night Vigilance Duty procedures

Incident Investigation & Reporting

• Investigate all security-related incidents
• Maintain MIS reports, daily shift reports, and escalate findings to relevant authorities

SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) and Sustainability Initiatives

• Ensure 100% compliance with safety standards and sustainability practices
• Educate team members on job hazards, safety controls, and escalation procedures
• Conduct Tool Box Talks, participate in safety sub-committees, and promote safety culture
• Ensure adherence to COVID-19 protocols and other site safety measures

System Management & IMS Implementation

• Participate in implementation and continuous improvement of IMS and other management systems
• Submit Kaizens, suggestions, and good practices on time
• Participate actively in KFA and GRT meetings to share innovations and improvements
• Promote system awareness and preparedness for audits
