Assistant Manager - CAE (Female)

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for undertaking finite element analysis (FEA) for welded Structures.
• Good experience of FEA, Meshing, Results interpretation with good structural understanding.
• Conduct FEA or other structural/thermal analysis, including static or dynamic stress analysis, modal analysis, and fatigue analysis.
• Identify potential critical challenges and failure modes including collaborating with other engineering teams to identify risks.
• Make recommendations to the design to improve their functional performance and reliability.
• Work with test engineers to perform verification and validation of the simulation results.
• Work with test engineers to develop/conduct FEA simulations to verify appropriateness of test methods.
• Prepare technical reports of results.
• Through understanding of Kinematics calculations of construction equipment machines.

Competencies

• Excellent understanding of fundamental mechanics and structural finite element analysis (FEA).
• Experience with Ansys workbench CAE software.
• Ability to differentiate and utilize both system and subsystem analysis techniques to evaluate complex interactions.
• Ability to define DOEs and analyze the influence of design parameters to optimize the product design for a given application.
