Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans in collaboration with business heads.
- Analyze financial performance vs. budget/forecast and identify key drivers of variance.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and business reviews to senior management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist in cost management, profitability analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Participate in financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Monitor working capital, cash flows, and financial KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead or support special projects, process improvements, and system implementations related to business finance.
- Mentor junior finance staff and coordinate with external auditors as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred).
- 4–7 years of experience in business finance, financial planning & analysis, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in MS Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP/financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
