Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans in collaboration with business heads.
  • Analyze financial performance vs. budget/forecast and identify key drivers of variance.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and business reviews to senior management.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist in cost management, profitability analysis, and pricing strategies.
  • Participate in financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Monitor working capital, cash flows, and financial KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead or support special projects, process improvements, and system implementations related to business finance.
  • Mentor junior finance staff and coordinate with external auditors as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred).
  • 4–7 years of experience in business finance, financial planning & analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP/financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
