Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering:
- Act as a finance business partner to key business units or product teams.
- Provide financial insights and support in commercial decision-making, pricing, and cost optimization.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial forecasts and annual budgets.
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results, and provide commentary.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive financial accountability across departments.
- Reporting & MIS:
- Prepare and deliver timely, accurate financial reports and dashboards.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in coordination with the accounting team.
- Conduct profitability analysis by product, region, or business vertical.
- Cost Control & Efficiency:
- Monitor operational expenses and work with teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in implementing internal controls and best practices in financial governance.
- Strategic Projects:
- Contribute to financial modeling, business cases, and investment appraisals for new initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to automation, tools, and analytics.
Key Requirements:
- Education:
- CA / MBA (Finance) / CMA or equivalent qualification.
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in business finance, FP&A, or financial analysis roles.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with ERP and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Attention to detail with a strategic mindset
