Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed civil work execution plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure civil works align with project specifications.
  • Support procurement activities by providing technical inputs for civil construction materials and services.

Construction Supervision:

  • Supervise civil works such as site preparation, foundation construction, and structural erection.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Resolve technical challenges during construction to maintain project continuity.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Implement quality control measures ensuring adherence to design specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to detect deviations and initiate corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and permits.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and guide civil engineering teams, subcontractors, and site personnel.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct training to enhance technical skills of the civil works team.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records including daily progress, inspection logs, and as-built drawings.
  • Prepare reports highlighting project milestones, challenges, and resolutions.
  • Assist in preparing project documentation for handover and commissioning.
