Job Summary

Adani Wilmar Limited is looking for a highly motivated Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the edible oil industry and will be responsible for supporting store or process operations, ensuring team performance, enforcing company policies, and maintaining high standards of product quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, SOPs, and best practices.
  • Optimize profitability by controlling operational costs and improving process efficiency.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of new team members.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Provide clear leadership and direction to the team, motivating them to achieve goals.
  • Ensure consistent availability and quality of products, particularly in edible oil operations.
  • Support and collaborate with the Store Manager/Plant Manager in leading day-to-day activities.
  • Oversee and manage inventory levels and retail display/visual merchandising.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and contribute to skill development planning.
  • Maintain health, safety, and security compliance at the workplace.
  • Organize employee schedules, manage shift rosters, and assign tasks efficiently.
  • Uphold consistent customer service standards across the team.
  • Maintain store/process area cleanliness, stock replenishment, and visual planogram standards.
  • Handle process in-charge responsibilities, especially related to edible oil production or sales operations.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the General Manager or Senior Management accurately and within deadlines.
  • Support daily operations and step in for the Store/Operations Manager when required.
