Job Description
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness with strong attention to detail while dealing effectively with guests, housekeeping staff, and other departments.
- Obtain lists of vacant rooms and expected check-outs to plan and prioritize cleaning assignments.
- Handle turn-down services and manage special requirements for VIP guests and foreign dignitaries.
- Assign duties to housekeeping team members and inspect their work to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Prepare and distribute room assignment sheets and issue floor keys to room attendants.
- Maintain clear coordination with the Front Office and other hotel departments.
- Schedule cleaning of carpets, upholstery, draperies, and manage deep-cleaning and window-cleaning activities.
- Plan cleaning schedules for lobby areas, public restrooms, hallways, entrances, elevators, and telephone areas.
- Organize periodic major cleaning projects such as carpet shampooing, wall and baseboard cleaning, and elevator maintenance.
- Ensure meeting rooms are cleaned promptly after completion of functions or events.
