Job Description

  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness with strong attention to detail while dealing effectively with guests, housekeeping staff, and other departments.
  • Obtain lists of vacant rooms and expected check-outs to plan and prioritize cleaning assignments.
  • Handle turn-down services and manage special requirements for VIP guests and foreign dignitaries.
  • Assign duties to housekeeping team members and inspect their work to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare and distribute room assignment sheets and issue floor keys to room attendants.
  • Maintain clear coordination with the Front Office and other hotel departments.
  • Schedule cleaning of carpets, upholstery, draperies, and manage deep-cleaning and window-cleaning activities.
  • Plan cleaning schedules for lobby areas, public restrooms, hallways, entrances, elevators, and telephone areas.
  • Organize periodic major cleaning projects such as carpet shampooing, wall and baseboard cleaning, and elevator maintenance.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are cleaned promptly after completion of functions or events.
