Job Description

The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for leading sales operations, expanding market penetration, and promoting the adoption of organic fertilizers and botanical pesticides. The role requires strong leadership in developing growth strategies, managing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets within the agricultural inputs sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage sales initiatives to increase adoption of organic fertilizers and botanical pesticides.
  • Drive market expansion through strategic planning and targeted sales activities.
  • Maintain active engagement with key stakeholders including distributors, dealers, and large farm clients.
  • Oversee preparation of market reports and provide strategic insights to enhance sales performance.
  • Guide and mentor the sales team to achieve revenue goals and strengthen market presence.
  • Build and maintain long-term business relationships to support sustainable growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in sales of agricultural inputs and at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of organic fertilizers, botanical pesticides, and agri-market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and execute sales strategies effectively.
  • Experience working with channel partners and large-scale agricultural stakeholders.
