Assistant Cost Accountant/Cost Analyst/Costing Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Costing & Financial Analysis

• Monitor and report variances between actual and budgeted costs
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management
• Analyze cost sheets including direct and indirect costs
• Support cost-saving initiatives and profitability improvements

Inventory & Stock Management

• Conduct inventory valuation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Coordinate with production for accurate stock counts and valuation
• Assist in establishing cost structures for inventory management

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to cost accounting standards and internal controls
• Support internal and statutory audits and ensure regulatory compliance

Reporting

• Prepare cost trend analysis and variance reports
• Provide departmental cost performance reports
• Assist senior management in strategic cost-related decisions

Support in Decision Making

• Offer financial insights for pricing, margin analysis, and project costing
• Evaluate profitability across product lines and services

Process Improvement

• Identify areas for enhancement in cost accounting practices
• Implement best practices in cost tracking and financial reporting

Education Qualifications:

• Not specified (typically CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance / B.Com with relevant experience)
