Job Description
We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing products and components according to specifications, blueprints, and quality standards. This role requires manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and quality in a production environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assembly and Testing: Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies precisely according to specifications and blueprints. You will also test components to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Quality Control: Perform thorough quality control checks to ensure all products meet required specifications.
- Safe Operations: Operate hand tools and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Issue Reporting: Identify and promptly report any defects, issues, or quality concerns to the appropriate channels.
- Safety Adherence: Strictly follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills Required
- Technical Qualification: A Tool and Die Maker, NTTF (Nettur Technical Training Foundation), ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Fitter, or any equivalent qualification.
- Dexterity and Precision: Proven ability to work with mechanical components and subassemblies with a high degree of accuracy.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to quality control and identifying potential defects.
- Teamwork: The ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared production goals.
- Safety Consciousness: A strong commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines.
