Assembly Engineer

We are seeking an Assembly Engineer to manage daily production activities and optimize processes within our assembly and machine shop. This role is key to ensuring that production plans and quality standards are met while also driving continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day production in all Assembly lines / Machine Shop as per given C.T and PPC plan, to meet internal and external customer requirements.
• Control and utilize manpower to an optimal level.
• Maintain Quality and Safety in the department by providing training and awareness to operators.
• Implement improvements to save costs.
• Possess know-how of Assembly (Automotive Parts) & Machining (CNC / VMC / HMC).
• Be aware of Assembly SPMs, Tools, and Methods.
• Have knowledge of 5S / Improvements.
• Have know-how of Lean Management and TPM.
• Possess know-how of In-Process Quality systems / Process monitoring systems (e.g., JH Check Sheet, In-Process Quality record).
• Be familiar with working in an ERP system (i.e., SAP).

Skills Required

• Experience in managing production and assembly lines.
• Knowledge of CNC, VMC, and HMC machining.
• Expertise in implementing and maintaining Lean Management, TPM, and 5S.
• Strong focus on quality control and safety.
• Proven ability to improve processes and achieve cost savings.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
