Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the IBM AS400 (IBM iSeries) platform.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views in DB2 for i.
Write and maintain programs using RPG IV, COBOL, CL, and other AS400 languages.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform performance tuning and optimization of AS400 applications and DB2 database objects.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to AS400 applications and DB2 database.
Support system upgrades, migrations, and batch job scheduling on the AS400 platform.
Ensure compliance with coding standards, documentation requirements, and change management processes.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience developing on IBM AS400/iSeries platforms.
Strong programming skills in RPG IV, COBOL, and Control Language (CL).
Proficiency in DB2 for i SQL programming, query optimization, and database design.
Experience with batch processing, job scheduling, and data migration on AS400.
Knowledge of IBM iSeries tools such as RDi (Rational Developer for i) and Navigator for i.
Familiarity with source control and deployment tools in AS400 environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
