About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented professional to lead and drive the growth of our loan and cross-sell products across rural and semi-urban markets. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in financial product distribution, particularly in lending, with a proven track record of managing sales teams, expanding market share, and achieving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand distribution and market share of loan and cross-sell products.
- Drive the penetration of loan and cross-sell products in rural and semi-urban markets.
- Recruit, manage, and lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching and ongoing training.
- Ensure team members are actively engaging in the market to drive sales and product adoption.
- Utilize tools like QR codes and Soundbox technology to enhance visibility and accountability.
- Define market coverage, sales goals, and geographical territories for field teams.
- Monitor sales quality and conduct performance reviews to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies while identifying new business opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and sales processes.
- Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate records of sales performance and market insights.
Requirements:
- 5-12 years of experience in lending, with expertise in digital loans, personal loans, and merchant loans.
- Exposure to merchant lending and distribution experience, particularly in rural and semi-urban markets.
- Proven track record in driving product distribution and managing sales teams within the lending industry.
- Experience in digital lending platforms and technology-driven sales processes is highly desirable
