Area Sales Manager
Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Achieve assigned sales, collection, and other receivable targets.
• Manage the existing dealer network and appoint new dealers in unrepresented markets through market mapping and potential assessment.
• Sustain and increase the market share of NCL.
• Manage and motivate a team of direct reportees, ensuring effective performance review mechanisms for their key performance parameters (KPPs).
• Lead by example using a participative management style.
• Plan and execute market visits for effective engagement with channel partners and customers.
• Maintain call trackers and after-visit reports for markets.
• Train and coach the team on new technical inputs and general management skills.
• Foster a high-performance work environment and culture.
• Proactively resolve and handle service-related issues.
• Maintain good communication with internal departments such as Commercial, Logistics, and Accounts.
• Directly manage key customers (both trade and non-trade).
• Develop strong brand equity for NCL.
• Implement promotional activities including Mason Meets, Wall Paintings, Engineer Meets, and Dealer Boards as per KPPs.
• Ensure a healthy channel network with a minimum active dealer percentage of 90%.
• Submit weekly market reports and updates on competition and industry developments.
• Perform any other tasks assigned from time to time.
