Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure potential of the territory:
- List all outlets using TSI, SRs, and DSMs for comprehensive outlet mapping.
- Identify FMCG-selling outlets.
- Classify outlets based on potential and importance.
- Develop route maps to ensure optimum coverage and efficiency.
- Manage retailing and wholesaling activities within the territory.
- Monitor and manage distributor performance to ensure targets and service levels.
- Handle distributor claims efficiently and timely.
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets as per business goals.
- Shortlist and recommend distributors for new appointments or replacements.
- Report and resolve grievances and consumer complaints promptly.
- Implement and settle promotional schemes and incentives.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and effective merchandising at all outlets.
- Monitor activities of distributor salesmen, Sales Representatives (SR), and Territory Sales Incharges (TSI).
- Ensure availability of adequate funds (Bank Guarantees/Security Deposits) and infrastructure at distributor points.
- Open new outlets and monitor their performance and contribution.
- Plan and utilize Below-The-Line (BTL) budgets effectively for promotional activities.
- Report competitor activities regularly to inform strategic planning.
