Job Description

Key Objective of the Job:

  • Achieve collection targets assigned to the territory while ensuring legal guidelines are adhered to across the entire collection structure.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Collection Efficiencies:
  • Ensure collection efficiencies across assigned buckets as per the established structure.
  • Identify and initiate legal actions for critical accounts, ensuring timely execution of legal tools.
  • Drive NPA Reversals and Write-off Recoveries:
  • Focus on reversing NPAs and recovering written-off amounts.
  • Ensure timely initiation and execution of legal actions (e.g., warrants, Sarfaesi actions).
  • Legal Coordination:
  • Coordinate with the legal team and lawyers for timely filing of Sec and obtaining DM orders.
  • Ensure smooth and timely possession of assets through enforcement agents.
  • Portfolio Management:
  • Manage portfolio movement and allocate portfolios across team members based on demography and volume.
  • Monitor trail/feedback through M collect and delinquency files.
  • Collection Process:
  • Take steps to ensure the receipt and timely deposition of payments through digital modes.
  • Maintain zero delinquency within required parameters and company policies.
  • Publish MIS reports and review daily collections.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues and complaints quickly.
  • Visit critical or high-value customers to manage anticipated slippages.
  • Debt Recovery:
  • Monitor and facilitate the recovery of bad debts while managing legal proceedings.
  • Ensure in-house officers/agencies perform as per the defined SLAs and reduce vendor costs.
  • Team Management and Productivity:
  • Manage productivity by setting collection parameters for DMA, agencies, and executives.
  • Monitor performance against set parameters and conduct daily reviews of collection managers and monthly reviews of collection officers.
  • Training and Supervision:
  • Lead and supervise the collections team, implementing a recovery agenda through training, motivation, and strategic deployment.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all audits, NHB, IRB regulations, and company policies and procedures.
