Architectural Engineer

JOB PURPOSE

Graduate in Civil/Mechanical engineering/Architecture with minimum 5 years post qualification design experience in Architectural/Structural for Modular technical buildings.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTITUDE

Minimum Qualifications: Graduate in Civil/Mechanical engineering/Architecture or equivalent

Minimum Experience: 5 years post qualification design experience in Architectural/Structural for Modular technical buildings in oil & gas Industry

Job-Specific Skills: Experience in Modular Building industries (oil and gas, petrochemical, etc.).

Design Optimisation

Knowledge in Autocad/3D Software preferred

Generic Skills: Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in MS Office packages – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint,

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of Architectural and Structural disciplines.

Familiarity with industry standards BS/EN/NFPA

4. Roles and Responsibilities

• Propose economic solutions meeting the client/project requirements.

• To develop timely and cost-effective Architectural/Structural deliverables based on client given information, specifications.

• Develop deliverables such as equipment layouts drawings, Architectural Layouts, Structural Layouts, etc. as per the project's deliverables list.

• Preparation of MTO based on drawing details

• Preparation of Architectural/Structural deliverables in coordination with other disciplines to ensure clash free installation

• Make revisions and incorporate/clarify and resolve comments made by clients.

• 3D model review and coordination

• Explain the deliverable to construction team and provide construction support as necessary.

• Attend daily, weekly project meetings if required

• Any other responsibility as deemed necessary
