Architectural Draughtsman

An Architectural Draughtsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for building projects based on architects' designs. Heres a general job description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
• Interpret architects' sketches and specifications into precise technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Modify and revise drawings based on feedback from architects and engineers.
• Conduct site visits to gather measurements and verify design feasibility.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents and project reports.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Architectural Drafting or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other drafting tools.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction processes.
• Ability to interpret structural and MEP drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
