Architect - Compute & Cloud 1

• Strategy:
• Collecting the business demands from IS&T Business Partners
• Evaluate new technology solutions, for an integration to the roadmap, in collaboration with Business Partners, Projects, Operations and other Design Authority members. The scope includes all Hosting services (housing, server, storage, backup, systems, middleware, tooling…) especially public cloud services
• Initiate projects as identified in strategic roadmaps
• Define the service catalog
• Define and follow technological standards roadmap
• Participate actively to the IS&T innovations initiatives
• Contribute to and validate project scoping, general design and b-case. Ensure b-case follow-up (value realization). Ensure handover to projects teams. Involve in gates validation
• Help the service architects to manage the changes, evaluate the impacts and treat them.

MAIN CHALLENGES OF THE ROLE :

• Design promote and help to adopt public cloud services (IAAS, PAAS etc.)
• Provide technical assistance on business solutions within Alstom IT environment
• Contribute to the consolidation of the role of infrastructure cloud architect and gain credibility in front of the businesses and within the IS&T organization.
• Be a key actor and collaborate with the whole compute & cloud team located worldwide
