Job Title: Architect (5+ Years Experience)

Function: UX, Design & Architecture (Engineering & Construction)

Role Summary:

Responsible for developing architectural concepts, detailed designs, and construction drawings while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and project specifications. The role involves coordination with multidisciplinary teams, site supervision support, and maintaining design integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Design & Planning:

• Prepare architectural concepts, layouts, and design solutions aligned with project requirements and client expectations.
• Develop detailed drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and working drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software.
• Assist in project planning, design development, DPR preparation, and documentation.

Coordination & Integration:

• Coordinate with structural, MEP, HVAC, and other consultants to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to resolve design clarifications and execution challenges.

GFC & Execution Support:

• Review and finalize GFC (Good for Construction) drawings.
• Ensure design intent is maintained during site execution.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve design-related issues.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with local by-laws, NBC, fire, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and review BOQs, material specifications, and design reports.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and approvals.

Client & Team Collaboration:

• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design discussions.
• Incorporate feedback effectively into project designs.
• Guide and mentor junior architects and draftsmen by reviewing drawings and providing technical support.

Quality & Timeline Management:

• Adhere to project timelines, quality benchmarks, and cost considerations throughout execution.
