Application Security Engineer | DevSecOps

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Application Security Engineer | DevSecOps to join our team. This role is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the field of application security and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Implement security practices in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure secure applications.
• Conduct security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing on applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security tools and processes into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and analyze application security events and incidents.
• Stay updated with the latest security vulnerabilities and threats related to application security.

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of secure coding practices and common application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as SAST, DAST, and IAST.
• Experience with cloud security practices and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of network security principles and architecture.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) to automate security tasks.
