Application Lead

We are seeking an experienced Application Lead to design, build, and configure advanced AI applications using Microsoft Azure OpenAI Services and related Azure components. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and delivering high-quality, scalable AI solutions for enterprise environments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications using Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search-Cognitive Search, Azure Language Services (CLU), Microsoft Bot Framework, Microsoft Power Virtual Agents / Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Azure PaaS
• Act as the primary project point of contact, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and adherence to timelines
• Deliver high-quality enterprise applications, following best practices and industry standards
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of growth and innovation
• Stay current with Azure technologies and AI advancements, applying new approaches to maintain competitive edge
• Integrate Azure components effectively within enterprise systems, focusing on performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies, emphasizing API, logic app, and function app development
• Ensure quality assurance and testing principles are upheld throughout the project lifecycle

Professional and Technical Skills:

• Strong architectural expertise in Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, Azure Language Services (CLU), and Azure PaaS
• Hands-on experience in Azure-based LLMs, including embeddings, vectorization, and vector-based search
• Proficiency in Microsoft Bot Framework, Power Virtual Agents, and Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Experience with Python or C# programming, using Visual Studio Code and Azure AI Studio
• Understanding of API development, logic apps, and function apps
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes (preferred)
• Exposure to vector databases, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, and knowledge graphs (preferred)
• Hands-on with Azure AI services like Video Indexer, Computer Vision, Custom Vision, Document Intelligence, Speech Services, and Prompt Engineering (preferred)
• Experience with databases including SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Oracle
