Required Skills:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills across applications and database technologies
• Previous experience supporting cloud hosted applications.
• Strong ITSM background and understanding of best practices related to incident, change and problem management
• Technical background in database technologies Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, Python, UNIX, Pega
• Technical background in supporting various server platforms. Linux, Windows and Virtualized server environments
• Understanding of agile application development life cycles and supporting test environments.
• Experience with REST services.
• Experience with alerting and monitoring tools to ensure adherence to service level agreements.
• Experience with application capacity and performance tools
• Strong written and oral communication skills. Create and produce application support documentation
• Must be 'very' strong in Java. We want Java engineers that really passionate about Java and take the time to understand why they do things a certain way.
• Other skills include RESTful Web Services, SpringBoot, Kafka, MongoDB, and automation skills (such as Jenkins and Cucumber).
• Mentorship skills are required.
