Application Developer-zOS

Responsibilities:

• Work in IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) to provide technical and industry expertise for public and private sector clients.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle including design, code implementation, testing, and support.
• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain Mainframe z/OS applications using PL/I, JCL, DB2, CICS, MQ, and CICS Web Services.
• Participate in maintenance and on-call/on-duty support as per squad requirements.
• Create documentation and procedures to support maintenance and operational activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with squads and third parties regarding software development and support issues.
• Identify opportunities for enhancements and refinements to standards and processes.
• Interface with business and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and application code.
• Take ownership of end-to-end application deliveries.
