Application Developer-Microsoft Analytics

As an Infrastructure Specialist at IBM, you will support the infrastructure that powers industries such as transportation, energy, insurance, banking, and healthcare. You will play a key role in helping clients adapt to the rapidly evolving technological landscape by providing expert software development and infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficiency in software development using Microsoft technologies, ensuring high-quality code and efficient application performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product requirements and technical challenges, providing analytical problem-solving and strategic software solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest Microsoft technologies, integrating new knowledge to enhance software development processes and product features.
• Work extensively with relational databases, performing SQL development, optimization, and management.
• Create and optimize complex DAX formulas, analyzing DAX query plans for performance improvements.
• Understand Analysis Services engines (SE, FE) to optimize and troubleshoot business intelligence solutions.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Education:

• Master's Degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Experience with C# and/or PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services.
• Experience with DENEB, Vega, Vega-Lite, and JSON for visualization and data modeling.
