We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Prem and Cloud Windows Administrator to join our IT team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Windows environments, both on-premises and in the cloud. This role requires a deep understanding of Windows systems, cloud platforms, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows servers in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Monitor system performance; ensure system availability and reliability.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and maintenance.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in Windows system administration.
• Proficiency in managing Windows servers (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019) in both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (MCSE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, etc.).
• Experience with cloud migration projects.
• Knowledge of database administration (SQL Server).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).
