At least 5 years of hands-on experience in API and UI automation testing.
Experience in writing and executing automation test scripts for both API and UI.
API Testing:
Develop, maintain, and execute automated API tests (REST Assured)
Work with APIs using tools like Postman, Rest Assured or Karate Framework
Validate API responses for correctness, performance, and security.
Collaborate with the development team to understand API endpoints and functionality.
Ensure proper integration of APIs with the system through testing.
UI / API Automation:
Develop, maintain, and execute automated UI tests using frameworks like Selenium or Playwright.
Implement Page Object Model (POM) and other design patterns to enhance test automation architecture.
Identify, analyze, and report defects to development teams with detailed root cause analysis.
Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar for automated test execution in the pipeline.
Ensure cross-browser and compatibility for automated UI tests.
Proficient in Java/ Python for test script development.
Test Strategy & Planning:
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for both API and UI automation.
Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases and test scripts.
Identify test cases for automation and implement efficient test scripts.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum Methodologies
