Job Description
- provide anesthesia services for assigned operating lists and patients in ICU, HDU, or other departments as required.
- Participate in intensive care medicine rosters in liaison with the Director of Intensive Care.
- Deliver consultative services for wards, outpatient clinics, and operative surgical lists where appropriate.
- Participate in emergency duty rosters and provide on-call consultant expertise as per hospital requirements.
- Support staff training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and coordinate with relevant teaching committees.
- Organize and participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, conferences, and training for medical, nursing, and other staff.
- Engage in clinical research, audits, and administration in coordination with university departments or hospital research units.
- Contribute to the administration and management of the Department of Intensive Care Medicine and the Division of Anaesthesia.
- Keep updated with advancements in medical education, technology, and patient care practices.
