Job Description
- Provide anesthesia services for assigned operating lists as a Consultant Intensivist with Specialist Registration in Anaesthesia.
- Attend to patients in Intensive Care, High Dependency Units, or other departments as required.
- Participate in intensive care medicine rosters in liaison with the Director of Intensive Care.
- Provide consultative services to other departments as needed.
- Assist in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, operative surgical lists, and on-call duties, as appropriate.
- Participate in staff training for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and liaise with relevant committees.
- Organize and participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching for medical, nursing, and other staff.
- Engage in research, audits, and administration related to anesthesia and intensive care services.
- Participate in emergency duty rosters and support hospital administration activities.
- Experience with ECLS or heart/lung transplant is desirable but not mandatory.
