The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application development and a passion for creating high-quality software. You will be responsible for designing and developing Android applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously improving the performance of our apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively.
