Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting Solution Development & Management: Design, develop, and manage comprehensive SAS and SQL reporting solutions, overseeing the entire lifecycle from planning and design of new solutions to ongoing management, production support, monitoring, and accountability.
  • Business Intelligence & Strategic Advice: Engage proactively with business stakeholders to understand their business intelligence needs and advise on strategic analytical solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Data Flow Understanding: Possess a deep understanding of how Management Information (MI) is captured and delivered, ensuring data integrity and relevance.
  • Requirements Documentation: Document detailed business requirements effectively to assist technical teams in building the necessary functional and integration components for reporting solutions.
  • Agile Delivery: Deliver outputs through an Agile delivery model, utilizing Teradata (database), Informatica and SAS (ETL), and Qlik (presentation layer).
  • KPI & Analytical Model Design: Design, track, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytical models that directly influence Field Operations strategy and productivity.
  • Action Plan Recommendation: Based on analytical indicators and models, recommend and establish actionable plans to mitigate risks and optimize overall Field performance.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare upper management for critical strategy discussions and present weekly and monthly results with clear insights.
  • Deliverable Creation: Create and maintain both static and Ad-Hoc analytical deliverables to effectively communicate field performance and enhance technician-level efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in developing and managing SAS reporting solutions.
  • Expertise in developing and managing SQL reporting solutions.
  • Experience in the planning and design of new reporting solutions.
  • Ability to provide ongoing management, production support, monitoring, and accountability for reporting solutions.
  • Strong engagement skills with business stakeholders to advise on strategic business intelligence solutions.
  • Understanding of MI delivery and clear documentation of requirements for technical builds.
  • Experience with Agile delivery model, utilizing Teradata, Informatica (ETL), SAS (ETL), and Qlik (presentation layer).
  • Skills in designing, tracking, and interpreting KPIs and analytical models.
  • Ability to recommend and establish action plans based on analytical insights.
  • Experience in preparing management for strategy discussions and presenting results.
  • Proficiency in creating/maintaining static and Ad-Hoc analytical deliverables.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
