Analyst Testing

We are looking for a seasoned Senior QA Analyst / Test Lead with hands-on experience in manual and automation testing, Agile delivery, and customer-facing roles. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, automation using Tosca, and experience working on system upgrades and technology renewal projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Lead/SPOC for customer communication and interface related to testing deliverables.
• Review business requirements and design test plans ensuring accuracy, completeness, and test coverage.
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing.
• Document and manage defects in tools such as Quality Center or JIRA; track through closure.
• Conduct risk assessments, define entrance/exit criteria, and contribute to project estimates and test strategy.
• Execute tests across various environments (web, mainframe preferred) and log incidents or blockers.
• Provide regular status updates to QA/Test Leads and Project Managers, including known issues and test metrics.
• Create and reuse test automation assets using Tricentis Tosca; incorporate automation into project reporting.
• Work on system testing activities for technology upgrades, platform renewals, and tech currency initiatives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables; experience in Agile methodology is essential.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and other QA team members.
• Identify test data needs, build conversion and validation scenarios, and contribute to knowledge repositories.
• Drive test process improvements and contribute to knowledge sharing and reuse across projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• College graduate degree from a reputed institute.
• Technical/Business/Quality certifications such as CSTE, ISTQB, CMMI, LOMA – Desirable
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, and test lifecycle management.
• Basic knowledge of web testing and mainframe systems (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca for test automation.
• Strong understanding of test planning, test data creation, defect lifecycle management, and reporting.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Quality Center, or similar test management platforms.
• Strong reasoning, analytical, and communication skills.
• Exposure to performance and security testing is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or co-lead small to mid-size QA projects or testing streams.
• Experience in technology renewal/upgrades/tech currency projects is a strong advantage.
• Experience in identifying test improvement opportunities and implementing QA best practices.
• Agile project experience is mandatory.
