Job Description
We are seeking a professional for an AM / Manager role in real estate consulting. This position is focused on research, financial modeling, and project planning. The ideal candidate will conduct market analysis, perform feasibility studies, and support clients in securing funding. This role requires a strong blend of financial and technical skills, coupled with a proactive approach to client engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Research and Analysis:
- Gather data on demographics, land use, real estate development, and benchmarking for project planning.
- Conduct market research to understand local real estate trends, property values, and zoning regulations.
- Evaluate potential sites and prepare feasibility studies to assess profitability.
- Financial Analysis:
- Support the financial assessment of projects by analyzing budgets, funding sources, and cost estimates.
- Prepare financial models to evaluate project viability, return on investment (ROI), and funding requirements.
- Assist the client in seeking funding and interacting with various funding agencies.
- Project Coordination & Quality Control:
- Help coordinate project schedules, track timelines, and ensure team members meet deadlines.
- Provide technical assistance in using planning software or tools like GIS.
- Review project documents and outputs to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with regulations.
- Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Participate in site visits to collect information and assess project impacts.
- Actively engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills & Qualifications
- MBA (Finance) or Master's degree in a relevant field (business, urban planning, etc.), or a background as a CA / CFA. A bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, or urban planning is also acceptable.
- Professional experience in real estate consulting and valuations, preferably with IPCs, NBFCs, real estate developers, or Big 4 firms.
- Strong focus on financial and economic modeling, including expertise in valuations (DCF, cost-based, asset-based, etc.).
- Experience in transaction advisory, including PPP transactions, bid process management, and real estate project management.
- Ability to prepare and present reports and concepts to clients and senior management.
