AGM/DGM - Credit Risk/Underwriting

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the credit underwriting process for working capital, supply chain finance, and other funding solutions for corporate clients.
• Drive the development and implementation of credit policies, underwriting procedures, and monitoring frameworks to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee a team of professionals, providing guidance, training, and leadership to ensure optimal performance and consistent delivery of credit risk assessments.
• Conduct in-depth credit analysis, risk evaluations, and financial appraisals for both new and existing corporate clients, ensuring risk mitigation through proper structuring of deals.
• Prepare and present credit proposals to the Sanctioning Committee for approval, ensuring all relevant factors are considered in the decision-making process.
• Monitor the credit portfolio performance, conducting periodic reviews, stock audits, and evaluations of the overdue management process.
• Collaborate with the business development teams to understand customer requirements, recommend suitable financial products, and ensure that credit decisions align with business goals.
• Design and implement tools, automate risk management processes, and improve turnaround times for credit decision-making.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of credit risk MIS and reporting to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with risk and regulatory requirements and continuously improve the risk management framework for better portfolio health.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 12-15 years of experience in Credit Underwriting, Supply Chain Finance, SME & Mid Corporate Funding, and Credit Risk Monitoring.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team of professionals across various regions, ensuring effective performance, training, and development.
