Adult Cardiac Operation Theatre Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-operative care:Preparing patients for surgery, including physical assessments, documentation, and answering questions.
• In-operative care:Assisting the surgeon during the procedure by passing instruments, maintaining sterility, and monitoring the patient's vital signs.
• Post-operative care:Monitoring patients in the recovery room, managing pain, and educating them about post-operative care.
• Equipment and Supplies:Ensuring the operating room is properly stocked, organized, and sterilized with necessary equipment.
• Collaboration:Working with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nurses, to provide comprehensive care.
