Job Description
Are you a highly skilled engineer with a strong RF and communications systems background, eager to drive products from concept to full production We're looking for a Product Applications Engineer to be the central resource, interfacing with design, test, application, software, and marketing teams as our cutting-edge transceiver products move from development to customer distribution.
You'll be at the heart of our product lifecycle, working with a multi-functional team to analyze, evaluate, and resolve complex issues, ensuring seamless product launches and customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface as the central resource with design, test, application, software, and marketing teams throughout the product lifecycle, from design to completion and distribution.
- Perform in-depth lab analysis and evaluation of new systems, collaborating with multi-functional teams to identify, simulate, and correct both functional and parametric problems.
- Drive the verification release of embedded software for our transceiver products.
- Take ownership of silicon and ARM software from early development stages through to full production release.
- Develop and operate robust software verification test benches.
- Interact directly with field sales/applications and customers to effectively resolve product issues.
- Participate in customer visits as needed to provide expert technical support and build strong relationships.
Skill Set:
- Strong RF and communication systems education background and experience.
- Hands-on experience performing circuit evaluation and characterization using essential bench test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, and vector signal analyzers.
- Proven experience working with transceivers and their various sub-blocks (e.g., PLLs, Mixers, LNAs, ADCs/DACs, JESD).
- Solid knowledge of signal processing concepts and their practical application.
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as ADS and Cadence.
- Proficiency in programming using LabVIEW/TestStand, MATLAB, or C.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
