Role - Azure AD Engineer
Required Technical Skill Set
- Windows Server 2012, 2012R2, 2016,2019 and 2022 configuration, upgradation, and administration.
- Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Azure RMS, Azure Active Directory Connect, Microsoft Identity Manager, DNS, DHCP, PKI, CyberArk Privilege Access Security Suit, Group Policy, PowerShell
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have
1. Microsoft Certification (MCSE), Azure or equivalent certification in Windows.
2. Installation and Configuration of Window Server Operating Systems like windows 2012R2, Windows 2016, Windows 2019, and other Microsoft Suite of Products.
3. Exceptional knowledge on Windows Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy Configuration and NTFS File System.
4. Problem diagnosis and resolution of Active Directory and Azure AD infrastructure.
5. Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager/Forefront Identity Manager.
6. Must have good knowledge on DNS and DHCP enterprise level environment.
7. In-depth understanding of AD Site component topology, Forest/Inter-Forest Operations and Topology, AAD Connect; AD and Azure Environment Security, and group policy.
8. Subject Matter Expert in providing Windows Server Operating System Solutions.
9. Strong understanding and working experience on Virtualization technologies, Hyper V and VMware.
10. Good hands-on in managing the CyberArk Privilege Access Security Suit.
11. Configure and troubleshoot OS level firewall and ACLs configurations
12. Configuring and managing Desired state configuration state of Applications, software, and server configuration
13. Troubleshooting Server level issues (Crash, boot, configuration issues, File system failures and application level failures) and Cluster Issues
14. Strong in any of the scripting language (PowerShell) and provide automation solutions as value add to business
15. Responsible for Incident/SR/changes/SIP related to Windows Technology
16. Understand and practice ITIL and Agile processes
17. Responsible for ensuring that the delivery is within the prescribed SLA levels and help in establishing processes for continuous service improvement
18. Re solve incidents/problems/Changes according to established procedures
19. Work proactively to ensure prompt resolution of support cases & the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction along with minimal production impact
Good-to-Have 1. MCSE or Any Azure certified
2. PowerShell, SCCM and Network knowledge
3. Experience with Citrix Environments
Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role
1. Manage and maintain the Active Directory and Azure AD infrastructure and Related Security Tools Virtualization
2. Identify and Review software fixes and patches to Active Directory, Azure AD and Related Security Tools
3. Apply standard software upgrades to the Active Directory, Azure AD and Related Security Tools.
4. Audit and Report the status of the Active Directory and Azure AD and Related Security Tools, technologies.
5. Review Active Directory and Azure AD configurations and make recommendations
6. Determine opportunities for optimization and automation and Develop, implement and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to Active Directory, Azure AD and Related Security Tools.
7. Provide Integration and synchronization services for multiple domains and forests with Azure Active Directory and O365 Tenants.
8. Provide L3 resolution of issues reported in AD, ADFS, Azure, Azure AD Connect, MIM, DHCP, DNS and CyberArk Privilege Access Security Suite.
9. Interface with the Microsoft Office 365 cloud and related environment.
10. Evaluate and provide guidance for Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to optimize the Active Directory and Azure AD environment
11. Responsible for AD and AAD environment cleanup activities.
12. Provide daily/weekly/monthly defined reports within specified SLA.
