Job Description

An Acquisition Relationship Manager for Non-Resident (NR) business is responsible for acquiring new Non-Resident Indian (NRI) clients for a bank, managing their financial needs, and growing their portfolio through cross-selling various banking products. Key duties include meeting new customer acquisition targets, building rapport, providing financial advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction through strong relationship management. 

Key Responsibilities

  • New Client Acquisition: Proactively acquire new NRI clients through various channels like referrals from existing clients, overseas branches, stockbrokers, and by building local B2B partnerships.
  • Portfolio Growth: Expand the existing customer portfolio through new account acquisition and value building in existing accounts.
  • Cross-selling and Upselling: Sell a wide range of bank products, including investments, structured products, insurance, and loans, to meet both client needs and sales targets.
  • Client Service and Support: Provide high-quality service to high-net-worth clients by resolving their queries, issues, and providing financial advice.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue and sales targets on a month-on-month basis.
  • Market and Customer Insights: Gather feedback on customer needs and market trends to help inform business strategies.
