Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Account Manager - Technical Sales to drive key account growth and expand our business within your assigned territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, a solution-selling mindset, and the ability to build robust relationships with customers, turning them into long-term business partners.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for key account growth, aiming to transform customers into strong business partners.
- Build robust relationships with key accounts and lead with a top-down approach.
- Proactively identify and capture new business opportunities within your territory.
- Conduct visits to customer jobsites and offices to analyze needs, providing efficient solutions and technical support.
- Deliver focused product demonstrations & seminars, ensuring customers clearly understand the value of our solutions.
- Plan and execute sales activities using the CRM system, ensuring high data accuracy, call quality, and productivity.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and potential opportunities in the CRM.
- Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth through effective customer engagement.
- Manage credit collections and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Foster collaboration across multiple departments (materials management, logistics, credit, marketing, technical services, customer service) to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.
Skills Required
- Ideally, a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven problem-solving ability and a solution-selling mindset.
- Prior sales or business development experience.
- Strong drive for results and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Learning agility and adaptability in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Strong business planning skills to maximize productivity and customer-facing time.
