Job Description
Responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and assisting the financial controller in maintaining the integrity of the company's accounts and compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit processes, and general ledger reporting.
- Handle cash operations for the hotel and reconcile all cash deposited at the front desk.
- Analyze financial statements monthly and report variances to relevant department heads.
- Assist in financial and tax audits, including preparation of tax returns and corporate reporting.
- Support the financial controller in systems administration, G/L account reconciliation, budget preparation, inventories, monthly closings, and full P&L responsibility.
- Assist in completing year-end audit processes and review/approve reconciliation and audit work papers.
- Post city ledger payments in the property management system and reconcile/bill all city ledger accounts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in account management within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle cash management and reconcile financial transactions accurately.
- Proficiency in accounting software and property management systems.
