Shift Manager - Data Center Operations

Job Description:

• Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of the data center during assigned shifts
• Lead a team of data center technicians, engineers, and support staff to ensure operational excellence
• Ensure high availability and uptime of IT systems, servers, and critical infrastructure
• Monitor data center systems and respond to alerts, incidents, and outages
• Escalate critical issues to relevant internal teams and ensure timely resolution
• Oversee physical security, access control, and compliance with data center protocols
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and cross-functional teams for maintenance and support
• Maintain shift logs, incident records, and performance reports
• Drive adherence to SLAs, SOPs, safety standards, and company policies
• Participate in audits, capacity planning, and disaster recovery testing
• Train new team members and ensure skill development across the team
